It has been months since Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their separation after eight years of marriage.
The actor has since been relatively quiet about his affairs. Rarely speaking of Anna or her new man, cinematographer Michael Barrett, he has definitely been keeping to himself. That is, up until a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly in which Pratt was promoting his new film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The actor was asked about a wide variety of topics from the production of the upcoming film to handling the divorce with he and Faris’ now 5-year-old son, Jack. The separation was announced in July of 2017, right after the wrapping of Fallen Kingdom.
“Divorce sucks,” says Pratt. “But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.”
That is all anyone can ask for from a divorce right? The former couple just wishes to be amicable for the sake of their son. If they can handle that feat then that boy will be in great hands.
