Oscar-winning screenwriter Paul Haggis‘ marriage is officially over, but the spousal support payments have just begun.
Following the demise of his 19-year marriage to Deborah Rennard, the Crash director will pay her $20K a month in spousal support and an additional $5K a month for their 17-year-old son, according to TMZ. She’ll also reportedly get 20% of any salary he makes over $1.2 million. Ka-ching!
The former Scientologist didn’t walk away empty handed, as he’ll get one of the couple’s two NYC apartments and three other properties in Florida. Phew!
Paul and Deborah were married in 1997. In addition to their son, he has three daughters from a previous relationship.
