A disgruntled groom has reportedly filed for divorce just hours after marrying because his wife wouldn’t stop texting friends.
The Saudi Arabian man tried to consummate his marriage on his wedding night but was turned down as his new bride spent the evening replying to congratulatory texts and emails instead.
When he asked if her friends where more important than her new husband, the woman replied “yes” without evening skipping a hashtag.
According to a report, the argument got quite intense and culminated with the groom storming out of the hotel.
The couple then sought the aid of something called a reconciliation committee, but the groom has insisted on going through with the divorce.
Hopefully the bride was able to use her phone to call an Uber and leave the hotel, as women are prohibited from driving in Saudi Arabia.
